Our Amazing Bodies

We just finished up our unit on the human body a couple weeks ago, so we thought we would share some of our favorite moments with you all.

You can tell that Summer is totally enthralled by the nervous system. Her brain just might be ready to explode :)


Here is our edible DNA. As you can tell, we are all about tasty homeschooling.



Here is Megan making her body. This was tough. She is so ticklish, that we had to make a few attempts at tracing before she didn't look deformed. Riley went a little overboard on tracing his body. A permanent body outline was left on the kitchen floor after he picked up the paper, which looked like a police crime scene, until we scrubbed it with a pumice stone before we moved.

Summer put her brain on and we thought it would also make a terrific shower cap design.
