So I got an insane idea this summer that it would be fun to put on a neighborhood play. Not just one play, but 3 plays! We did "Slurping Beauty", "The Emperor's New Hair," and "Rafunzel." I held auditions, ran rehearsals, did costumes, and built the stage in the backyard. I did have some lovely volunteers that came to help with hair, makeup and costumes during the play. (Thank you Michelle and Shelley!) We had popcorn and drinks and all the neighbors came and it turned out so cute! Here are some picts, hopefully the video will come shortly! Watch The Emperor's New Hair here. Watch Slurping Beauty here. Watch Rafunzel here.
hahaha! I'm sooooo glad that we were able to come and see these plays!! I seriously was laughing the whole time!! I hope the recordings aren't ruined by my laughing! And I LOVED megan as the hairdresser!!! FABULOUS SIMPLY FABULOUS!
I am a stay-at-home homeschooling Mormon mama of 3 beautiful children and a wife to the man of my dreams! I enjoy going overboard on projects and parties. My new hobby is browsing pinterest for more projects to go overboard on.
Brian
I can't say enough about my sweetheart. Brian is the love of my life. He is my hero because he inspires me each day to become better, to love deeper, and to live with joy. I love working with him every day building our marriage, our family, and our business. I couldn't ask for more. I am so blessed.
Megan
aka: Meggo ben Weggo (our only hope)
Megan says I'm not allowed to talk about how weird she is. So, I will limit my remarks to the fact that she enjoys softball, playing the piano, and she spends most of her spare time researching parakeets. She dreams about one day getting a parakeet and a pair of baseball pants.
Summer
aka: Zooba
We have a hard time keeping up with our little Summer. She is the whirlwind of energy and sunshine in our lives. Her favorite thing to do is to make friends and make people feel special. She loves to dance, do art projects, and put on instant plays with her cousin Ashley.
Riley
aka: Frog, or The Great Hambino
Riley is quickly growing into a young man. He is always hungry and enjoys satisfying his hunger with otter pops, rootbeer floats and cereal. He is part of a growing neighborhood posse of boys which compensates for not having any brothers. He recently learned how to dribble a basketball under his legs and is quite proud of that.
